Summer of “Fear Not” 2020 #7

Fear Not #7 – Psalm 94:19 NIV – When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy.

I love this verse. It doesn’t say that God changed the situation. It says that God gives you joy. Joy. Sit and comprehend that for a minute. When was the last time you felt joy? Wasn’t it great? Didn’t you want it to last forever? God gives joy to his children because they love him. What a wonderful trade-off, anxiety for joy. I’ll choose God and joy every day. Can you give up your anxiety, let God console you, and receive joy? Settle in to his peace. He’s waiting for you. Thank you, Jesus
